I have tried going over here on 3 different occasions and they are always closed. They are always closed during everyone else's lunch period making it extremely difficult to get in to see them.

It is true that they are hard to reach over the phone (if not impossible). If you go to the building and actually talk to someone, they’re awesome! Katharina is very helpful and does her best to help where she can! The attorney we met with as well was very kind and helpful.
-Just be kind to people and be respectful and you should have absolutely no problems.

Attorneys are never available and not useful. Very few of them are actually available and takes months to actually see one. My original review was taken down so I’m reposting it so it’s worded more clearly. (Update) response to your question, this initial review was posted during COVID, then taken down because there was a claim I didn’t use the service then reinstated by Google. I used legal both times one for private counsel, the second was for claims both SUCKED! I’d say the only good department was the notary department. Does that answer your question? Yes it did take several months and was a waste of time. I ended up hiring private counsel and getting a successful resolution. Your claims department head civilian guy Mr. Schlagner also sides with the movers and protects them from any negative repercussions. Here since you brought it up let me bring up my story. Movers damaged all my HHG upon arrival movers threatened me and tried to coerce me into signing documents stating the move had no damages and nothing missing. I refused, movers illegally processed my move without a signature. I filed a claim they admitted they processed it without a signature. Lawyer reviewed the docs said “your right what the movers did was illegal” “if you did it you’d go to jail” but they’re Germans and you can’t touch them. Then he went on to say “my legal advice to you is next time just don’t buy nice things” it was an almost 30k claim that they paid out 10k for. Thank God I had USAA otherwise my family would be devastated. I’m not the only nightmare story. The IG there did nothing and said he couldn’t do anything. Lots of things wrong with the legal department there.
